An exquisite pair of Gothic era iron cast fire-dogs adorned with Gothic arch motifs, coats of arms featuring three fleur-de-lis, and human faces. Dating back to the pre-16th century and sourced from a bourgeoise estate in Provence. These rare fire-dogs still retain their original irons (often worn away from the heat of the fire).
